Four decades of world-class production and score to picture. From London to LA to Cape Town.
Graham Ward is the lead producer, composer, and arranger behind Wardwide Studio. UK born, he started playing professionally at age five in his father's jazz ensemble and was recognized as a child prodigy by seven. By thirteen, he recorded his first album and joined the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
That same year he was cast as a drummer in Alan Parker's Bugsy Malone. At nineteen he took the drum chair in the original London production of CATS, and went on to perform in the original West End run of Chess for ABBA's Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.
Graham's career has placed him alongside some of the most influential names in music history, working with icons including Paul McCartney, Tom Jones, The Bee Gees, Ray Charles, Mark Knopfler, Roger Daltrey, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Nick Heyward and the Wu-Tang Clan.
In 1996 Tom Jones offered Graham a contract and green card sponsorship, prompting a move to Los Angeles, where he toured with Jones until 2002. He then built his own production company in LA before relocating to Cape Town in 2012, where Wardwide Studio is now based.
